Wolfgang Binner was born in Germany and raised in France. He studied sculpture, drawing and lithography with the Spanish artist Camilo Otero and others. He became deeply involved in the Parisian art community and opened the art gallery Gallerie Vienner in the Saint Germain de Pres neighborhood. This allowed him to promote new artists and remain an integral part of the art scene.

Since his early days in France, creating art was a driving force in his life. The contrast between his early childhood in post war Germany and his colorful French adolescence allowed him to view the world through his unique lens. In each painting, the artist’s intention is for the viewer to find love, happiness, and a hidden story.
